How Often to Water exists to answer one question really well: how often should I water this plant?
It sounds simple, but the answers online are often buried under long stories, vague advice like "water when needed" or schedules that ignore the season, the pot and the light. We wanted a place where you can type the name of a plant and get a clear, trustworthy answer in seconds.
How we write our guides
- The answer comes first. Every guide opens with a quick answer you can act on right away.
- Schedules, not rules. We give you a starting rhythm and then show you how to read the soil and the plant, because no calendar knows your home better than you do.
- Plain English. No jargon unless it helps, and then we explain it.
- Grounded in good sources. We draw on university extension advice, botanical gardens and hands-on growing experience, and we update guides when better information comes along.
